Neither purchased nor inherited, how did it arrive in the family?

In 1830, Pierre Denoyel was given it in trading of a gambling debt . He did major structural works to transform it into a Château for his family! Since then, six generations have lived and worked there, until Jean-Benoît and Tiphaine, current owners. Château de Nervers is, currently, one of the last large family Beaujolais’s vineyards . Their turn has come to receive ancestral knowledge, discover family secrets and add their skills and creativity… to pass it on, one day, to their children!

In the world of wine ever since he was a child, Jean-Benoît took over the familial estate in 2012.

He is manager, vinegrower, winemaker, cellarmaster… and happy dad of three children! Passionate, he can tell you for hours (or a little less…) about soils, plots and local traditions!

Tiphaine married her JB in 2017 and abandoned her speech-therapist job in order to orchestrate wine tourism at the estate.

She is also working for export, human resources, quality, communication, sales…
